Getting Started

The normal process in getting started with an 8-week program begins with the (free- $65 value) consultation. During this initial meeting, we will:
Have an in- depth discussion of your individual, specific goals.
Determine any pre-existing conditions or injuries that require consideration before beginning training or that may limit the type of training you are able to do.
Analyze your current level of fitness and/or level of sport performance, along with your current nutritional habits and general lifestyle.
Based on this information, we will then develop a realistic set of both short and long term expectations and be able to give you a good idea of what your program will consist of; for the following 8 weeks and beyond.

After all the previous components are thoroughly discussed and analyzed and we factor in your current schedule (work, school, practices, etc.) we will make suggestions as to how to structure your 8 week training package that will be most effective for you (i.e. number of sessions per week, length of each session, etc.).

After you choose the structure that works best for you, you're ready to start. The first session with your trainer will be all assessments. The trainer will:
Gather baseline information on the status of your current levels of cardiovascular capacity and fitness.
Assess muscle strength and endurance.
Assess flexibility and perform a postural analysis.
Complete full-body measurements.
Perform an extensive self-evaluation quantifier.
The trainer will analyze this data along with the goal sheet produced from the consultation and design the most effective program for you. You will continue to work with the same trainer, one-on-one, for the entire 8 weeks.

Along with achieving real, measurable results, you will also become more knowledgeable, benefiting from your trainer's expertise in the areas of strength training and conditioning, and nutrition.
